Do you supply workbenches for a specific industry?
Yes. Every bench is manufactured to order in Britain, so we build to the specification the work needs rather than to a catalogue standard. Choose the sector above, or call 0161 688 6737 and describe the application.
Which workbench do I need for my industry?
It comes down to load and worktop. Engineering and automotive work needs galvanised steel or steel-encased wood at 1000kg UDL or more. Assembly, electronics and laboratory work needs laminate or ESD laminate at 350kg UDL. Food and medical work needs stainless steel. Each sector page lists the range that suits it.
Do you supply the public sector and education on purchase orders?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and can issue a proforma invoice, which is how most education and public sector orders are placed.
Can you build to a non-standard size or height?
Yes. Standard working height is 840mm and worktops run from 1000 × 500mm to 2950mm wide, but we manufacture to order — see our workbench height guide for how to work out the right height.
Are the products made in the UK?
Yes. We manufacture in Britain and are a Made in Britain member. Benches arrive fully welded and ready to use.
